MULTI-SKILLED (Carpenter,)
(3 Months Fixed term Contract)

Job Purpose
To ensure effective and efficient execution of Multi-skilled responsibilities surrounding the Exhibitory environment that requires precision and attention to detail from an incumbent that works easy with his / her hands and uses innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all required Carpentry work is completed and managed in accordance to instruction;
• Ensure that innovation is used, whereby the carpenter is to provide management with guidance on improvement areas around the Centre;
• Ensure that safety is adhered to at all times during execution of responsibilities; Ensure that all tool maintenance and servicing is addressed daily;
• Attend to basic requirements from Management i.e. maintain interactive Exhibits.
Minimum requirements:
Education
• Technical Grade 12 with carpentry as a subject
• N3 in carpentry

Required Experience
• 5 years’ experience in carpentry

• Strong Carpenter Skills,
• Track record on Wood Work Skills;

• General Handyman skills;
• Hand and power tools
• Good communication skills;
• Good inter-personal skills;
