Multimedia Designer

Location: Melrose Arch, JHB
Salary: R20k per month

Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
5 years’ experience as a Multimedia Designer
Knowledge of coding and scripting for the purposes of design integration is necessary
Setting up documents for print
Adobe Suite including Dreamweaver, Photoshop and InDesign
Project management skills
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines in an uncertain and changing environment
Creative thinker with strong conceptualising abilities
High level of quality control through various stages of the production process
Other Applications: Illustrator, After Effects, Any 3D design and animation package, Jquery
Scripting: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash, Actionscript 3
Advantageous:
Know-how of creating table-less web pages using Div tags and CSS is an advantage
Understanding email and how to create email templates

Duties:
Creation of user interfaces and other graphic elements for all devices
Designing HTML5 /CSS driven content
Creating direct marketing, print and press media
Planning the site structures and creating flowcharts
Generating ideas
Researching new technologies and creative strategies
Problem solving
