PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
Ensure that franchisees actively support the company thereby achieving budgeted sales

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
5 years Franchise management experience
Experience working across various functional teams including project management, product development, sales and marketing

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Strong organization and planning skills
Strong leadership skills
Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
Strong technical thinking & analytical skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to build relationships at all levels
Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage changing priorities

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)
Franchise Support
To ensure maximum support from franchisees thereby achieving budgeted sales & profit
Monitor sales promotions
Achieve targets
Achieve franchisee budgets
Increase profitability of franchisee through value ads
Franchisees support products consistently
Minimum 65% support from franchisees
Ensure prices are competitive
Effective communication between franchisees and the company
Smooth flow of business processes between franchise office and franchisees
Follow-up payments from franchisees for fees and accounts
Reduce bad debt / no outstanding payments
Arrange group training for franchisees
Monitor regional activities that are implemented through RFM's
Uniformity: Maintain professional image of company and franchise base
Plan and execution of regional meetings
Monitor regional Franchise Council elections and meetings
Ensure open feedback to RFM's and franchisees at all times
Regular visits to franchisees - leading to market feedback
Resolve problems timeously (keeping value of franchise top of mind)
Recommend new product opportunities
Handle franchisee queries and complaints
Regular contact with suppliers
Keep abreast with market and product developments

GROWTH OF FRANCHISE MEMBERSHIP
Identify open areas / potential franchisees and follow up to open new stores
Ongoing growth of brand equals increased sales and profitability

FOTY
Ongoing evaluation of sales as per FOTY
Coach each RFM to understand the FOTY program by min 95%
Maintain uniform standards and create ability to identify trends and opportunities
Identify weakness, gaps and assist stores to grow and improve market share
Act on opportunities and assist franchisees to grow business and in turn grow ours
Identify corporate image weaknesses
Revamps where necessary
Ensure all franchisees are making full use of all value ads

FRANCHISE DRIVEN PROMOTIONS
Trade / Retail
Manage stores progress and involvement during promotion periods
Increase support and profitability
Identify non performing areas and act upon

WORKSHOP SPECIFIC
Occupational health and safety audits to be conducted annually
Workshop audits to be completed first half of each calendar year and opportunities identified
Technical training to be rolled out for each franchisee
Tools and equipment listing to be identified each year by franchisee for possible sales opportunities
