Applicants are invited for the indicated vacancy that exists in the Specialised Focus Portfolio within Therapy Cluster C.

Main Duties:
• Achieve and exceed set sales targets and market share objectives.
• To manage formulary agreements and listings and to track performance against target.
• To drive and generate sales on the Transplant, Oncology and Haematology product baskets within the private and selected public sector Hospitals in the territory.
• To effectively manage the territory by means of planning, territory analysis, customer targeting and call coverage of identified customer base.
• Effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies
• Providing ongoing customer support by means of CME activities and training as required.
• To achieve coverage and frequency targets on the national client base
• Effective territory expense management and control.
• Effective management and understanding of product demand, channel management and wholesale accounts

Required Skills & Attributes

• Experience in the above therapy areas would be advantageous.
• Service focused and customer centric
• Knowledge of basic financial calculations
• Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
• Administration skills – ability to comply with the required administration standards associated with this position.
• Ability to work under pressure, to set priorities, plan effectively and to demonstrate above average time management skills.
• Creativity and Flexibility – the ability to work in a changing environment and to adapt to different situations
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships (mutual trust and respect) with customers and other stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license

Qualification and Experience

• Proven successful track record in pharmaceutical industry will be required.
• Previous experience in the above therapeutic areas would be preferred
• Existing relationships with key customers would be an advantage.
• Post matric qualification (medical or paramedical qualification an advantage)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (national responsibilities)
• Must be computer literate on MS Excel, Power Point and Word
