National Sales Manager (Cutting Tools/ Machine Tools)

INTRODUCTION:
A well-known local manufacturer of abrasives cutting tool products is looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to
join our team, taking control of our South African regional sales structures. The position is based at our Head Office ,and will
oversee all our regional sales and branch activities, the position will require regular travelling.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
National Sales Management of all regional structures and activities
Development and Implementation of sales plans in line with growth strategy.
Assisting the Commercial Manager in directing and motivating the allocated sales team in order to achieve the overall
regional sales objectives.
Actively manage, develop and mentor direct reportees.
Process alignment and optimising profitability across the organisation.
Analyse market potentials, track sales and status reports.
Generation of management reports and pro-actively engaging with management.
Meet and exceed sales budgets (volume & revenue).
Accountability of the national debtor’s book.
Establish, promote and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
All HR management within the portfolio.
Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Formal Tertiary qualification is an absolute minimum.
Applicants aged between 35 and 55 with a minimum of 7-10 years proven National Sales Management experience in a
technical field.
Entrepreneurial flair with excellent time management skills.
Must be MS Office advanced level user.
Must have exceptionally strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of abrasive products and processes would be highly advantageous.
Integrity, credibility, trustworthiness and a professional appearance is non-negotiable.
Valid driver’s license and sober habits.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIREMENT
Proven experience in CRM Management, call planning and sales reporting is a must.

Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise
Must have strong interpersonal skills and possess the ability to communicate, interact and resound with both shop floor
