Our very dynamic client in the HVAC AHU sector requires a National Sales Manager, Randburg
The duties will include the following:
Management of sales team and Agents:
Daily discussions with sales team and Agents
Collation of monthly quote report
Ensuring national daily monthly sales targets are met
Ensuring national monthly forecasting is provided for
Resolution of any issues between production and sales
Resolution of any issues between finance and sales
Monitor long term stock and provide sell out programme
Assist estimating department from time to time
Hold regular sales meetings where sales targets are discussed and necessary action be taken to meet targets
Technical manager:
In depth technical knowledge of all products
Technical training - National
Formulation of sales and expense budgets:
Analyse historical sales and expense figures
National Sales budget forecast formulation
Strategic activity planning:
Define export sales strategy to allocated export African Countries
Identify potential in current export market for increased market share
Analyse local market and define sales strategy to meet set targets in each product segment
Identify and action marketing and advertising plan for each product segment and implement this according to budget
Product development:
Identification of any products which may offer increased sales potential
Obtain opposition market information and act timeously on this where possible
Problem solving
Marketing functions:
Manage marketing assistant
Develop marketing strategy per product segment and implement
Collate project data for news reference database
Manage leaflet print and design
CRM data capturing and set-up
Reporting:
Monthly report generation
GmbH Sales report generation
MM sales report
Formulation of budget presentations
Conducting Business Improvement Program (BIP) meetings
Identify operational issues and remedy
Attend BIP Meetings when held
Attend Ahu meetings when required
Assist production with market requirements
Bring product pricing issues / design to the table and resolve
Key project management:
Manage larger projects
Assist sales representatives in their management of projects
Visit all allocated export countries annually
Visit and grow key accounts per allocated export country
Manage current local agents
Immediately take responsibility when sales people are on the wrong track
Understanding the market:
Visit Consulting Engineers, and Architects regularly
Visit the customer base at least once per annum, with the relevant sales
members
Attend monthly management meetings and present monthly sales report
Candidate Requirements
8 - 10 years in a Sales Management role (HVAC industry a must)
Export experience (Africa)
In depth understanding of HVAC (HVAC-AHU) sector
Salary: R 850 000 CTC (include medical aid, pension, bonus)
