The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the regional business units and sales force in order to achieve the annual sales budget set for the unit and to optimize branch/business unit resources.

KPA’s:
•Assist with the development of a National Sales Strategy that will position the location and functionalities of the national sales branches, sales field force and specialist sales functions to optimally grow the business.
•Develop the annual Operational Plans and Budgets for the implementation of the National Sales Functionality Strategy, the Sales Turnover and Income Budget and the Sales Operational Budget. Monitor achievement against budget. (Understanding and applying key sales and cost drives towards optimisation of all sales resources maximising profit)
•Determine and direct Sales processes in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders
•Responsible to Conduct Research and Project Administrate important strategic projects
•Identify and develop the most appropriate Sales Management Systems, structures, technology platforms, policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the department
•External relationships are managed effectively to ensure cost effective and best practice service delivery from specialist consultants
•Manage National Sales Location and Functionality Budget, the National Turnover and Sales budget and the Sales department’s operational budgets
•Manage and develop departmental staff

REQUIREMENTS:
•Diploma in Sales and Marketing or similar
•4-8 years experience in a Managerial role within a sales environment
•Excellent management and leaderships skills
•Excellent understanding of sales principles and strategies
•Highly target/sales driven
•Proactive and analytical
•Good computer skills, knowledge and experience on the ICAS and CRM systems will be advantageous
•Sales experience in a sales contact centre is a plus
