An exciting opportunity exists for a well round National Sales Manager ( Distribution) with industry experience with one of our well established clients.
Requirements:
Relevant Technical and Industry experience.
Degree or Diploma advantageous.
At least 15 years’ experience in a sales and key account management capacity of which 5 years has been spent leading and managing a sales team.
New business development

Maintenance of current clients
Internal cross functional partnership
Figure orientated and target-driven
Must be willing to travel.
Good interpersonal skills.
Advanced computer literacy required i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
The ability to manage people and identify problems affecting customers, and
provide constructive feedback and action.
Proven track record in dealing with customers on high level.
Proven track record in successfully meeting & surpassing sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare a business plan for the Field Sales and Servicing team to increase market share and deliver the growth strategy of the business taking cognisance of opportunities and market conditions.
Grow and maintain current business, identifying market opportunities and Hi Potential clients / prospects and create and implement sales strategies to develop new business and achieve sales targets and results.
Ensure through partnership with cross functional and specialisation teams, the creation of transport and logistics solutions to meet customer needs.
Lead the Field Sales and Servicing function through coaching, developing and motivating subordinates including follow-up of team and individual performance against targets and objectives aligned with overall sales strategy.
Ensure CRM system is managed and maintained by the Field Sales and Services team .
Overall responsibility for the achievement of Sales targets by all applicable Business Development Executives.
