Job Title: National Sales Manager

Synopsis:

Our client a leader in the Glass and film manufacturing industry is looking for a National Sales Manager to drive sales growth by managing a diverse Sales team. The successful candidate must have 5 years extensive sales and management experience, a Tertiary qualification in Commerce or sales and must come from an automotive/ Wholesale Retail Experience.

Minimum Requirements:
Significant competence and experience in managing customer profitability and future suitability of these relationships
5 Years extensive sales and management experience
Degree or Tertiary Qualification in Commerce or Sales
Accredited Selling Skills Training.
Accredited Presentation Skills Training.
Negotiation Skills Training
Automotive/Wholesale Retail experience
Architectural experience is preferred

Job Description:

Increase Sales

Effectively lead the sales team and to provide appropriate coaching and support.
Develop, implement and deliver on a strong growth sales plan for the business supported by a compelling value proposition.
Growing market share and value in the automotive segment by offering creative solutions around additional products and services.
Significantly growing the architectural film segment by capturing market share and creating new demand.
Manage key/strategic accounts and provide adequate support.
Review, implement and manage the sales strategy per business channel.
Cement relationships with the fitment network, dealer groups and OEM’s where required.
Monitor and understand the competitor activities and market shares by product category in the industry.
Monitor and report on sales volumes, activities and market conditions.
Identifying, qualifying and quantifying of opportunities.
Educate customers and staff on our product range through presentations.
Ensure that pricing strategies are appropriate and followed whilst providing market relevant input on value proposition
Constantly review the value proposition to ensure our product offering remains a premium brand.


Promotes Profitability
As a minimum achieve sales and margin targets whilst driving sustained profitability.


Customer Service & Quality:

Ensure that our customers receive professional service in all aspects at all times.
Ensure that customer expectations are met.
Ensure compliance to our brands standards within Llumar and in the fitment network.

Administration:

Assist customers in resolving queries.
Compile and manage sales report per channel indicating activities.
Submit additional reports that management may require
Monitor sales trends by customer.
Ensure that our customers are equipped with relevant marketing material.
Develop realistic and achievable plans.
Working systematically, setting objectives and prioritize effectively.
Effective performance management and coaching of all staff; conduct performance reviews bi-annually along with 1-1 reviews every 2nd month.

General:

Requires drivers license, own vehicle and mobile telephone
Travel within SA, and internationally from time to time
Required to attend industry events/conferences/meetings outside normal working hours
Maintain high code of conduct, ethics and professionalism
Champion company’s marketing and branding initiatives
Comply with prescribed Brand standards and company codes/policies and guidelines including people practises.
