Requirement for .NET Integration/API Developer
Work Location: Sandton,Johannesburg, South Africa
Mode of employment: contract (6-12 months extendable)

Job Spec:

Key Skills – WEB API, .NET 4.6, WCF (SOAP), C#, .NET Core, Integration (Sockets, Signal-R, SLA)

Role & Responsibilities :
• Work as a part of Agile delivery team focused on Test Driven Development (TDD) approach with ability to contribute in spring planning, sizing and delivering as per required code quality standards
• Write the code in line with defined coding standards and industry standard best practices
• Write unit test cases ensuring required code coverage & execution
• Perform as build coordinator as needed to perform tasks such as code merging, build, unit test cases execution, integration with services and deployment in Non production environment
• Write code keeping in mind Performance & Security aspects of the application you are developing
Primary Skills (Must have) :
• Hands on experience on technologies such as WEB API, .NET 4.6+, WCF, C#, .NET Core & integration (Sockets, Signal –R, SLA)
• Experience in windows services
• Experience in database technologies such as SQL server & Mongo DB
• Good understanding of performance testing using technologies such as Jmeter
• Experience in writing unit testing using Jasmine or any other technology
• Good understanding of CI and CD (bitbucket, Jenkins etc.)
Secondary Skills (Good to have) :
• Experience in server dump analysis and memory leaks
• Ability to identify best practices and contribute to practice team on the same
• Javascript, JQuery
