· Manage SAN and NAS solutions globally
· Manage backups and the overall execution of retention policies
· Analyze performance issues and storage usage patterns
· Ensure the ongoing maintenance of storage devices is maintained for maximum resource availability
· Manage backup and recovery strategy
· Install, patch and upgrade ONTAP versions for all production storage systems
· Review the overall environment and inform management of new technologies and best practices to improve system performanceand availability
· Capacity planning, provisioning and load management
· Ensuring accurate documentation.
· NCDA certification is required, NCIE is preferred
· Travel: 20-30% (within South African countries)
