RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR for a large national concern – position based in Sandton, Johannesburg.


REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Information Technology or related qualification is ESSENTIAL!
MCITP or related qualification is ESSENTIAL!
Project Management qualification would be an added advantage.
Certification (eg. A+/N+) in Computer Networking / Computer Technician / IT is ESSENTIAL!
2 - 4 years related experience.
3 years’ experience within a large corporate company.
1yr+ previous project experience is an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure.
Printing production and process knowledge.
Knowledge of Information Technology concepts and principles (e.g. architecture, design and documentation of hardware and software).
Continuous professional development and awareness of relevant technological solutions.
Ensure onsite hardware, software and peripheral updates and repair.
Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of computer systems and peripheral equipment.
Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems and component parts.
Prepare progress reports for all work performed.
Manage the business risk and business continuity.
Ensure minimal downtime outside scheduled maintenance.
Ensure internal customer satisfaction.
Monitor and maintain Antivirus for on a daily basis.
Ensure Project Plans are coordinated.
Ensure efficient resolution of calls logged to the IT help-desk function.
Ensure standardisation of core systems for all plants.
Standardise upgraded operating systems.
Ensure IT complies with all mandated policies and laws.
Enhance capabilities and skills to perform optimally.
