About the company:
Our client is a reputable and trusted NZ brand who is at the forefront of technological advances in the Telecommunications sector across some of Australasia's largest companies.
What you'll be doing:
Our client is looking for several people to join their expanding Fulfilment team working in their project environment.
You will take ownership of customer projects end to end, from detail design of a solution through to implementation of the solution.
You will be the conduit between the business and the customer and so it is expected you will attend customer meetings and provide detailed documentation post implementation to the support teams.
What you'll need to succeed:
4 to 7 Years of networking experience especially hands on experience with IP networking
Strong knowledge of Routing and different hardware platforms
Ability to work on detail design
In-depth understanding of various layers of infrastructure from the customer premises to provider edge
Strong planning and problem solving skills
Strong documentation skills
Proven experience working with varied technologies including Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, Alcatel devices
Cisco Certified CCNP or better with a background in Telecommunications preferred
Less experienced Engineers, possible at CCNA level are also encouraged to apply
