EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATION/S REQUIRED
• A+ and N+
• Linux RedHat and Ubuntu
• Windows Operating systems
• CCNA is an advantage but not compulsory
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in IT network & network monitoring tools
• High level of aptitude in IT environment
• Strong customer service orientation
• Strong problem solving & report writing skills.
• Presentation & communication skills.
• Strong team orientation

DUTIES
• Compile advanced reports.
• Analyze information from management systems for improvement and risk areas
• Perform special investigation & audits based on customer requirements & provide feedback
• Provide technical training to clients on management systems
• Monthly/ ad hoc reports compiled according to client requirements
• Consultation on use of "Information about IT" to improve IT environments.
• Advanced identification, analysis and resolution of technical problems.
• Independent completion of task, presentation of reports & recommendations to clients
Testing
• Release note of all changes, new functions & bugs compiled
• Request ticket update according to status
• All relevant code for specific patch/release/hot fix in respective directories.
• System tested holistically.
• Implement patch/release/hot fix to client according to maintenance slot
Operations & team work
• All requests logged & assigned via RT acted on & updated
• Constant monitoring of client infrastructure ensured
• System administration tasks performed.
• Maintain database of monitored objects
• Health check alerts actioned
• Maintain RT (ticketing system)
• Guidance given to junior engineers, technicians & developers
• Good timekeeping in regards to meetings, deadlines & customer appointments
