National Company in Port Elizabeth is looking for a Network Infrastructure Team Leader.

Requirements:
• 2-3 years Network Cabling Experience installing Voice and Data cabling -
• Cat5e, Cat6 UTP – Molex, Krone or Systemax
• SM and MM fibre and fusion splicing.
• Voice backbone cables and terminations.
• OSP fibre – Blowing and Jetting of cables.
• CCTV and Access Control – not required but will be advantageous.
• Valid drivers license
• UTP cabling product certification – Molex, Krone or Systemax is advantageous.
• Fibre installation and termination certification – FOA or other registered body is advantageous.
• Health and Safety – Working at Heights and Risk assessment is advantageous.
• Valid Driver’s License Code 8 (essential)
• Computer Literacy

Duties:
• Plan and execute your daily tasks to maximum efficiency.
• Oversee a team of Technicians
• Keep all equipment and vehicles clean and in working order. Ensure maintenance happens at required intervals.
• Report any lost, missing or stolen tools immediately to the Project Leader and/or Operation Manager. Follow it up daily until resolved.
• Report all faults, accidents damage, or theft from the Installation vehicle to your Project. Follow it up until repaired or resolved.
• Be professional and presentable at all times in the presence of clients and the public.
• Improve your knowledge by attending training sessions and by studying.
• You are responsible for your own safety and those of colleagues in the workplace and while travelling in a company vehicle.
• Report any problems, grievances or any issue that affects your performance in order for Management to resolve them timeously
• Schedule your leave timeously. Ensure that your leave is approved before taking leave.
• In the event of being absent without leave, inform the office of your whereabouts immediately.
• Ensure Job sheets, drawings all relevant documentation is kept safe, signed off and handed in timeously.
• Ensure that all installations are efficient and profitable
