This position is for one of our clients based in Johannesburg and involves dealing with a number of clients.

The following duties and responsibilities:-
Support - hardware and software support on PC's, Windows and linux servers plus networking equipment
Working with servers and peripheral devices
Installing and supporting workstations
IIS Server, SQL Server. General PC and Server upgrade and repairs
Routers, firewalls, Backups and Restore, Spyware removal, MX Exchange
Network printers and network connectivity

Required: -
A degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology
Minimum 3 years experience in implementing or supporting Windows Networks
Good interpersonal skills
Troubleshooting skills
Strong experience in desktop and software including MS Windows and Office
Working knowledge of server operating systems (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Must maintain a high professional manner and must have be able to work independently
Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
Own transport as travelling to clients will be required.
