The key performance areas of the role are :

• Manage the membership register and database, ensuring it is up-to-date and integrated with the organisation website and bulk email/sms.
• Co-ordinate the mapping of all role-players in each of the provinces with specific emphasis on all but especially the 26 priority districts. With support from Network Officers in provinces ensure that a comprehensive role player database is created and regularly updated. This database of role-players should specifically include GF partners and key population organisations in each of the districts.
• Set up and manage Member and Stakeholder Data Management System to ensure the optimal use of the system by all (all relevant staff trained)
• Send out alerts to provincial managers and advance notice of capacity building opportunities (training's)
• Coordinate, track and respond to queries and input from members, develop and manage a feedback system on the membership structure.
• Set up systems and processes for consultative meetings and ensure standardisation and quality assurance.
• Set up systems and processes for both the district and the provincial meetings and ensure standardisation and quality assurance.
• Coordinate networking activities with Network Officers (events, campaigns, capacity building, etc.).
• Report and Provide information for reports to Provincial AIDS Councils, donors and internal purposes.
• Consolidate issues from Advisory Committees and alert management for action
• Develop and coordinate the organisation's Advocacy Strategy (Nationally and in all Provinces) in collaboration with C&N Unit Manager
• Track and Coordinate advocacy issues (from consultative forums and other events)
• Ensure effective communication regarding emerging advocacy issues in liaison with provincial managers and network officers
• Knowledge management for advocacy and networking (gather, organise and disseminate).
• Identify emerging issues and notify management for appropriate action (Liaise with Programme Specialists for position papers)
• Initiate position papers on relevant issues.
• Initiate CSS and other communication outputs and updates in liaison with Business Development and Communications unit
• Coordinate the organisation's AGM
• Uphold and exemplify the organisation, its vision, mission, values and objective
• Uphold and implement the organiation's policies and procedures
• Attend meetings, workshops, and training courses as required
• Contribute to the organiation newsletter and the Annual Report
• Identify personal growth needs and attend relevant staff enrichment training sessions
