New Business Development Manager – Engineering / Manufacturing – Cape Town

Well established Engineering / Manufacturing Company of Engineering Parts in Cape Town are looking for a New Business Development Manager with at least 3+ years of Experience in Sales in the same field. Must have experience in Transport / Imports Knowledge.

Salary on offer: Negotiable + Company car + Cell + Comm

Minimum Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience in External Sales
• Must have own car
• Must have Engineering and Manufacturing Experience
• Sales and Marketing background very beneficial
• Engineering Qualification will be an added advantage
• Must be willing to travel Nationally
• Must be able to work on your OWN

Responsibility:
• Present and sell company products to existing database as well as new potential clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activities.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-ups.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Follow-up for collection of payment.
• Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
