My client is looking to appoint a seasoned New Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build a viable and self-sufficient port through the creation of new revenue streams by creating new business opportunities or expanding upon existing business opportunities.

Job Requirements:

M + 3 degree: Marketing and Business Strategy qualification or B. Com/ Project Management
8 years proven relevant marketing and business development track record displaying strong strategic and leadership abilities.

Knowledge of:

Business development
Port management
Project management
Strategic analysis
Forecasting and business planning
Revenue accounting
Tender and contract procedures
Budgeting processes
Understanding of intermodal transport logistics including shipping trends
Capacity Planning.
