R5000 basic + Company car + unit based commission + Sales based commission + F&I commission + medical aid

A well-established dealership belonging to a reputable holding company is looking to employ a New Vehicle Sales Executive who wants to work in a strong and dynamic team that delivers. The ideal individual would have a passion for the sales industry and the ability to work under pressure.

The successful candidate must have:

  • 3 years experience in direct sales of new vehicles

  • Code 08 driver’s licence

  • A proven achievement track record (with commission sheets) in sales for 3 years

  • Valuation and stock swop experience

  • Grade 12

  • Relevant tertiary education

  • Computer literacy

  • Above average sales ability

Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:

  • Reporting to the Used Vehicle Sales Manager

  • Meet and exceed sales target through innovative selling skills

  • Exceed customer requirements at every interface

  • Sell the range of manufacturer vehicles

  • Complete accurate and quality paperwork

  • Protecting the company against risk

  • Exercise caution in dealing with customer expectations

  • Represent company in networking within external and challenging business environment

  • Follow up on sales opportunities (leads)

  • Follow through on sale after delivering of the vehicle

  • Keep customer up to date throughout the sales process

  • Urgent focus on selling process and the required timeline   


  • Taking persuasively and fluently

  • Listening skills

  • Planning, organising, control and time keeping

  • Prospecting and closing

  • Deadline and  Customer Service orientation

  • Work independently

  • Ability to deal with customer diversities



  • Excellent selling skills

  • Up to date with product knowledge, sales, market trends
