The job requires a high level of independence and decision making and an exemplary eye for detail.The scope & general purpose of the role include Responsible for the auditing of all revenue generating departments on a daily basis.System maintenance, back-ups and running of the EOD (End of day)Late check-ins and early check-outs as per Hotel policy and procedures and to deal with any special needs or requests a guest may have during his stay.All the above responsibilities are executed during a night shift: 22h30 to 07h00Will be required to attend daily morning meeting in the absence of the Night Manager. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 years experience in a 4* or 5 * Front Office position of Receptionist or Night Auditor. Opera knowledge: Front Office, Reservations, Cashiering & Reporting – essentialPrevious Auditing Experience an advantageComputer Literate – Windows and experience in Word and Excel essentialExcellent Communication SkillsExcellent Guest Relations Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12.
