Experience & Qualifications Graduate from a Hotel Management Institute or ?Food Production Course from a reputed institute ?4-7 years experience ?Strong verbal and written communication skills ?Ability to work without supervision ?Team & Goal Orientated Duties & Responsibilities Work in all sections of the Kitchens ?Ensure that allocated section is always kept clean and all prep is completed ?Run the night shift independently ?Cook the food as per Standard Recipes ?Train his/her subordinates and other staff ?Order, rotate and take stock of inventory ?Menu planning & costing ?Judging quality of raw material & providing quality finished products ?Planning and organising ?Supervise and guide staff as required ?Deputise in the absence of senior chefs ?Follow prescribed and ensure adherence to standards of hygiene in the kitchenFollow the Policies, rules and regulations set by The Taj Cape Town Kindly submit confidential applications to Human Resources.
