Calling all Theatre Trained Night Owls! Leading Private Hospital Group seeks to employ Night Duty Theatre Scrub RN in their busy 15 Theatre Complex.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing theatre specific training and assessing the competence of staff

• Ensuring the theatre team works according to the scope of practice

• Providing feedback to the unit manager in order to assess optimal performance

• Ensuring the disposal of medical waste in order to effectively control infection

• Building effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders

• Attending review and consultative form meetings to maintain healthy relationships with internal stakeholders

• Maintaining a healthy relationship with external stakeholders by reporting and escalating unresolved issues to the unit manager

Applicants for this position must be:

• Must be able to scrub for General Surgery, Gynae, C-Sections, ENT, Plastics and Maxillo Facial

• Registered with SANC

• Minimum 2 – 3 years Theatre Scrubbing experience as an RN • Have a post basic in Theatre
