Night Manager (Hospitality)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Hospitality Tertiary Qualification
• Hospitality experience in a 5 star environment required
• OPERA experience essential
• Basic Accounting experience preferable
• Driver’s License essential
• Excel experience essential
• Knowledge of restaurant cash up principles essential

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Check-in and check-outs of guests
• Records and updates guests profiles
• Monitors and updates handover book daily
• Ensures proper pit checks are done daily
• Assists guests with all bookings, tours, flights, forex etc
• Ensures that all Policies and procedures are adhered to
• Ensures all relevant reports have been printed and distributed to departments.
• Audit restaurant cash ups and corresponding account allocations
• Audit hotel reception transactions and corresponding account allocations
• Daily balancing on Opera
• Run end of day functions on Opera
• Ensure Front of House and Reception areas are kept neat and tidy at all times.
• Overlooks Hotel in absence of Heads of Departments
• Manages Night Security guard and facilitates any irregularities
