Tutors Needed!!! (Teach English Online)

Bellville Cape Town

Salary: R30 – R62 per hour (On Target Earnings)

Seeking English Tutors to teach English to students from various countries, via an online forum. Most of the students live and work in Asia, they tend to be graduates and/or working professionals; they have had some exposure to the English language and will be looking to brush up on their conversational capabilities.

This is a full time position, requires commitment and dedication; based at our language centre in Bellville.

Requirements:
? Energetic and professional personality
? Clear, neutral accent
? Willing and able to work shifts
o Monday – Sunday
o Five (5) days on with two (2) days off
o To include two (2) weekends a month
o Night shift 23h30 – 09h30
? Some previous work experience (essential)
? Computer Literate (essential)
? Previous TEFL/TESOL teaching experience, preferably with adults (advantageous)
? This position is limited to SA Citizens

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Able to lead the group in an informal but structured way
? Able to work both independently and collaboratively
? Able to motivate students and encourage participation
? Able to deliver effective education/training
? Able to manage administrative tasks effectively
? Prepare/adapt appropriate teaching materials
? Identify/asses the needs of learners and if necessary adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs
? Offer advice on further learning and progression opportunities to learners as required

? Patient, confident, enthusiastic, empathetic
? Solid work ethic – hard working with a willingness to learn
? Able to work as part to a team
? Able to motivate students with little confidence
