5+ years’ experience
Relevant IT Qualification
Location: Cape Town
Experience with NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB
SQL DBA experience/ knowledge – a bonus

Purpose:
Be responsible for all support, administration and maintenance of the NoSQL based environment, work closely with the existing DBA team to mirror the SQL administration processes.
Ensure adequate monitoring and alerting is put in place to proactively detect failure or performance issues.
Engage with the development teams to design solutions that match their application requirements.
