The Nursing Services Manager is to ensure excellence of care by maintaining impeccable standards at all times and is to utilize authentic leadership skills and comprehensive management principles.

The incumbent will comply with the rules and regulations of SANC and any other regulation including but not limited to the Older Persons Act, for himself/herself and all registered and enrolled staff. The primary task of the Nursing Services Manager is to ensure the welfare of all residents in the respective unit.

He/she will be responsible for welfare of residents, staff supervision, administration, financial, marketing and operations.

Candidate must have a degree/diploma in General Nursing Science, registered with SANC, and have a minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in a managerial position.

You will need geriatric, Alzheimer’s and Dementia experience and advantageous would be if person has been involved with any palliative care.
