We are recruiting for a Nursing Services Manager for the northern coast of KZN, to assist with growing a rapidly expanding private hospital group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the total quality of the nursing care of the hospital.
• Manage the administrative policies, procedures and protocols that support the nursing services.
• Manage Health & Safety, Environment, Quality and Risk principles
• Manage the HR practices for the nursing staff.
• Ensure a positive working environment conducive to Continuous Professional Development.
• Monitor staffing levels based on the departmental acuity levels.
• Oversee the review and update of the nursing policies and procedures.
• Oversee the adherence to all nursing statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse
• At least five years relevant experience in a management position
• Experience with commissioning a new hospital an advantage
• A Pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal/ communication skills are vital
• Excellent leadership abilities
