Job title: Occupational Health Nurse

Reports to: Contract Manager

Location: Northern Cape

Job Purpose: The successful candidate will be responsible for the rendering of a quality occupational health service that is effective, efficient and exceeds customer’s expectation and requirements

Qualification & Experience:
• Qualifications in General Nursing and Occupational Health / a certificate in Screening Audiometry, Dispensing and registration with SANC
• Computer literacy and own transport is essential
• Knowledge regarding Occupation Health will be an advantage
• Customer orientation, focus and teamwork complete the profile
• Drivers licence code 8

Duties and Responsibility
• Development of an Occupational Health program and the improvement to the existing programme
• Occupational Health Services, to establish the physical, psychological and social well-being of the worker in a safe working environment
• Monitoring the health status of employees through on-going surveillance programmes
• Providing information to the onsite client that could be utilized to eliminate, control and minimize health risks and hazards to which the employees are, or may be exposed
• Working effectively within a budget
• Meeting the prescribed professional and quality standards of both the organization and the client
• Meeting administration needs timeously
• Leading sub ordinates and inspiring them in the right direction
• Coordinating the clinic management
