OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE – 4 MONTH CONTRACT

Requirements:
? Grade 12 or equivalent level of educational certification. Alternatively proof of learning capability at that level
? Qualified and registered Occupational Health Nurse.
? Qualification in Keystone eye test for Drivers
? Good knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
? Dispensing Licence.
? Registration with SANC and SASOHN.
? Audiometry qualification (with update instruction 171 & registration)
? Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Email, Windows XP)
? Good communication and administration skills.
? HIV / Aids counselling certificate and experience

Responsibilities:

? Provision of Occupational Health Service & General Clinic Management.
? Management & Co-ordination of Medical Surveillance & Hearing Conservation Programme.
? Co-ordination & Management of IOD, procedure & COID.
? Assist with Health & Safety policies & procedures.
? Management of preventative health care (limited primary health care).
? Co-ordination of HIV programme.
? Monthly Reports
? Cost controls in line with budget
? Emergency Management
? A sense of urgency and business commitment
? Positive attitude, drive, flexibility and a professional image in terms of appearance and conduct at all times.
? Manage first aiders and facilitate their meetings
? Responsible for Ergonomics
? Health Risk assessment in factory
