My client is seeking the services of a Nurse to embrace this exciting opportunity within our HR Department. The incumbent will be responsible to provide an occupational health service and a basic primary health facility to employees.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:-
• Managing the occupational healthcare program in respect of legal compliance medicals of employees exposed to health risks in the workplace,
• Providing a chronic health service to employees,
• Conducting, recording, and communicating risks in regard to pre-employment and exit medicals,
• Conducting factory inspections and advising the occupational health care program accordingly,
• Maintaining confidential occupational healthcare records and keeping the Company Doctor updated,
• Managing the authorization of sick leave and absenteeism prevention program,
• Managing the first Aid program and ensuring first aid supplies are always fully stocked.

Applicants must have the following mix of qualifications, experience and competencies:
• A completed Nursing Diploma/ Degree and valid nursing registration,
• A minimum of 5 years Occupational Nursing experience,
• A valid medicine dispensing licence,
• Registration with SANC or SASHON,
• Exceptional administrative and electronic filing capabilities,
• Sound knowledge of all health related legislation,
• High personal ethics and value system.
• Exceptional computer skills i.e. proficiency in Microsoft packages essential.
