Shifa Private Hospital is looking to employ for a Occupational Therapist to work permanent.

Requirements:

The incumbent should have some experience working in an inpatient setting, be a fully qualified occupational therapist, registered with the HPCSA and BHF and have the capacity to work under pressure.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Conducting group therapy sessions.
Conducting individual and family therapy sessions as needed.
Administering assessments when needed.
Management of Individual cases as needed.
Attending ward rounds and providing feedback regarding the patients’ treatment.
Fulfilling administrative requirements in line with HPCSA regulations.
Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, including with the psychiatrists, and liaising with other professionals as necessary.
Assisting with and covering the duties of other Shifa Hospital team members as required
