Office Administrator (Investments / Financial Services)

Our client is an asset management company focused on local and global listed property investment. They are seeking an Office Administrator with a minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience (within an Asset Management / Financial Services / Investment Firm space).
The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:
• BComm. or related University degree / national diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role

Your roles and responsibilities will include:
1. Trading activities:
• Including loading of trades
• Liaising between the broker and administrator to resolve trade queries
2. Administration involved in off market deals.
3. Client on-boarding process:
• Obtaining and management of client account documents and FICA
• Opening bank accounts
4. Administrative assistance in client pitches.
5. Management of company information and the client database.
6. Management of the library/company reports.

7. Resolving client administrative queries.

8. Office maintenance:
• Including maintaining office supplies
• Maintaining the condition of the office

9. Ad hoc duties:
• Taking minutes at meetings
• Arranging travel, visas and accommodation.
• Organising and maintaining diaries and appointments

Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Sandton, Johannesburg.
