Our Client that offers an independent service that facilitates the payment of accounts and prepaid accounts is currently looking for an Online Support Engineer with Postilion experience to join their team in the southern suburbs in Cape Town.



Qualification

Matric

MCDBA or relevant IT course essential / Microsoft Certifications



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2+ years related experience

(Postilion real-time) experience essential

MSSQL, experience is essential

Linux experience advantageous

Business Analyst or Project Management experience advantageous



Job Description:

Support the production environment, upgrade, security, disaster recovery, hot cards, bins etc.

Setup and configure the Production environment

Ensure that communication channels are established with all clients at a technical level

Ensure that feedback is given to both management and clients

Investigating production related queries as raised by business or external parties

Ensure that adequate testing has taken place before implementing new systems or changes to existing systems

Setup and configure Disaster Recovery (DR)

Ensure that all technical documentation is current and freely available

Ensure that all processes are documented

Test any new system releases / upgrades from Development

Ensure that a testing schedule and procedure is available

Set-up and maintain systems
