Operational and Reporting Administrator – Medical Aid – R25 to R35 000.00 CTC- Bryanston
New and exciting vacancy available at this forward thinking and dynamic medical aid organisation based in Bryanston. Seeking the services of an experienced and well organised operational and reporting administrator.

Previous qualifications skills and experience:
? Bachelors in Computer Science or similar qualification
? At least four to five years’ experience in medical insurance and or medical aid operational processes and reporting.
? A thorough understanding of SA’s medical terrain and legislation.
? Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and to function well under pressure.
? A thorough understanding of MIP administration system.
? Proficient with entire Microsoft Office suite, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Projects and Excel.
? Experience with full project management life cycle.
? Working knowledge of financial analysis in relation to operational systems.
? Proficiency in SQL, VBA, Jasper software, Ireports a plus.
? Ability to proactively communicate detailed status to client and operational team.
? Strong organisation skills.
? Ability to work both within a team and independently.
? Ability to make sound decisions based on customer needs and technical knowledge.
? Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver high-quality solutions.
? Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Must be a result oriented individual with a high level of integrity.


Scope of responsibility:
? Assist with the operational processes and procedures of the organisation.
? Reporting directly to the general manager of operations
? Assist with improving the operational system, processes and policies specifically support better management reporting, information flow and management.
? Assist with co-coordinating the day-to-day workflow in and out of the organisation to meet various SLA’s.
? Assist with improving methods to measure department performance and do training on benefits and procedures.
? Design and develop automated reports.
? Guide operational processes by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; by documenting, explaining process techniques and recommending actions.
? Recommends actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
? Improves operational reports by analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
? Increase productivity by developing automated operational and accounting applications; coordinating information requirements.
? Technical and operational assistance and liaison with internal and external audit.
? Maintain a high level of operational efficiency and management of risks as part of the operational team.
? Be accustomed to change management processes and procedures.
? Keeping abreast of industry, business and system changes
? Report examples include:
? Develop, automate and maintain operational and management reports.
? Create and maintain operational business reports / ad-hoc statistical investigations.
? Develop and update project management reports.
