We require candidates that are fluent in both English and Portuguese spoken and written.

Alliance international Medical Services is a medical assistance company based in Johannesburg South Africa, we assist in:

• In-patient care.
• Out-patient care.
• Medical Air Evacuations.
• Ground Ambulance assistance.
• Admission assistance.
• Repatriation.
• Repatriation of mortal remains
• Case Management.
• Cost containment.
• Translation, accommodation, airport transfers and Taxi services.

Requirements:

• Matric (compulsory non graduates need not apply)
• Well-spoken with good telephone etiquette
• Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Work well alone and in a team
• Can meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Forward thinking
• Proactive
• Medical qualifications (not required but would assist)
• South African resident or valid work permit (please provide on interview)
• Must be fluent in Portuguese both written and spoken as well as English.
• Must be able to travel (valid passport)

As an AIMS staff member one would be expected:

• To arrange admissions to hospitals with in our network and around Africa.
• Arrange outpatient appointments
• Arrange outpatient transport
• Arrange flights and accommodation
• Issuance of GOPS with all our service providers
• Coordinate medical air evacuations as well as ground ambulance assist
• Take calls from our Portuguese speaking services providers and clients and enable the authorization process
• Working on both internal and external programs and managing patient files and cases.
