RedCat Recruitment is seeking an OPERATIONAL FORMULATOR (TECHNICAL DEPT) for an international company – position based in Hilton (near Pietermaritzburg).

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating product formulations ready for production in our ERP system including labelling, material master data in SAP and necessary documents.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Home language must be English and/or Afrikaans.
SAP experience a strong advantage.
MSc degree (or equivalent experience) in animal nutrition or other related study.
Registered as Candidate Animal Scientist with SACNASP or in process of registration.
1 – 3yrs+ previous experience.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and Act 36 of 1947.
Interface between the formulation program and the ERP system including all material master data ready for production and create proper product labelling in line with local (feed) legislation, including providing the proper documentation.
Responsible for organizing any re-work of products in line with production specific, quality and legislation limitations.
Providing proper product documentation for products produced at third parties.
Gatekeeper for product data integrity: applying correctly the global product categorization.
Key user in ERP system and application specialist in formulation program, and supporting product registration.
Manage and maintain product portfolio by actively cutting low volume or inactive formulas.

Salary offered: up to R260 000-00 per annum (CTC)
