Job Description:

• Raw material management: implement, maintain, analyse, evaluate and report on new and current raw materials.
• Formulations: implement, maintain, analyse, evaluate and report on new and current formulations.
• Implement, validate, maintain, monitor, evaluate and report on all quality procedures, standards and specifications related to quality systems.
• Manage, train and coordinate activities of personnel and equipment of the on-site quality lab.
• Manage, investigate and report on quality related customer complaints
• Plan, manage and keep to schedules regarding formulation and quality management.
• Financial management of formulation and quality systems
• Food safety team leader, active involvement in HACCP program, ISO systems and legislation.
• Provide technical support to clients, factories and head office.
• Technical research and development.

Job Requirements:


• BSc. Agric (Animal Science), MSc. Agric in Animal Nutrition Science will be an advantage
• Registered with SACNASP will be advantageous
• Sound technical knowledge of Animal Nutrition Science
• Feed Formulation experience will be an advantage
