JOB PURPOSE:
•To plan and conduct multiple tax audits on a risk profile basis to ensure compliance to the relevant acts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process
•Identify and resolve queries and problems timeously, apply discretion in line with process guidelines provided and escalate unresolved problems.
•Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations & discrepancies.
•Correctly apply policies, practices, standards, procedures and legislation in the delivery of work outputs.
•Perform operations in a specialised area to technical specifications and contribute to operational result delivery within predefined standards.
•Apply practical and applied knowledge and act authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks.
•Provide reports with recommendations applicable to area of specialisation.

•Lead, plan and conduct full scope (integrated) audits to ensure compliance and report on findings and recommendations.
•Maintain professional interaction and ensure ethical dealings with stakeholders at all times.
•Drive own performance & provide specialist support & advice to achieve specified objectives against required targets, deadlines and quality standards.
•Provide authoritative, specialist expertise and advice to internal and external customers.
•Plan, conduct and lead full scope (integrated) audits to ensure compliance and report on findings and recommendations.
Understands and able to apply auditing policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Qualification Type: Honours (B Comm) in Accounting or Taxation Academic Field: Business, Commerce and management studies.
- 6 years working experience in a taxation environment, of which 3 years working experience in an audit environment or MTA Qualification.
- CTA with external SAICA articles (preferable)
