Position: Operations Administrator
Location: Blinkpan, Mpumalanga
Appointment Date: 1st March 2017

Our client, a well renowned supply chain company has an exciting opportunity for a Operations Manager to join their team.

The Operations Administrator will provide professional administrative support with regards to the technical processes of site operations at Blinkpan Multi User Terminal.

Key Performance Areas:
The duties will include but will not be limited to:
• Responsible for administrating inputs on train recons, stockpiling and train movements.
• Establishing and maintaining administrative processes and standards to ensure the effective and efficient administrative support at Blinkpan.
• Archiving administrative records and maintaining files accordingly.
• Planning daily and weekly operational administrative activities by determining stockpiles figures and the amount of trains that have been ordered
as well as the train schedules.
• Liaising with the site management, clients, the mines, stakeholders and all other relevant stakeholders regarding operational activities.
• Auditing the weighbridge waybill slips according to stock received. Ensure that the data captured is accurate and data integrity is maintained.
• Verifying, reconciling and updating stock levels data (stockpiles for Majuba, Camden and Export coal) and forward information to the relevant
parties upon request.
• Compiling and submitting daily reports regarding stockpiles as well as flash reports.
• Responsible for releasing trains once all checks have been conducted and data has been verified.
• Responsible for the internal audit on all administrative aspects, functions and responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Transport and Logistics Management (Preferred)
• 5 - 7 years’ experience
• Valid driver’s license and own car
• Understanding of site operations policies, processes and standards
• Exceptional MS excel skills and experience reconciling figures.
• Well-organised, ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
• Problem solving ability, able to demonstrate a level of practical awareness and problem solving to achieve efficiencies in a site environment.
• Strong numerical understanding and commercial acumen
• Respectful and possess cross cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Demonstrate sound work ethics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good judgement and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
• The capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
