Operations Coordinator

Main purpose of the job

To coordinate all field operational activities of the IMAGE project

Location

North-West and Gauteng Province

Key performance areas

To coordinate all field operational activities of the IMAGE Project
Supervise team of Training Supervisors.
Coordinate field operations logistics
Ensure training meets required target and remains within timeframes
Ensure training quality meet required standards
Coordinate HR related functions in the field (e.g. leave, performance, contracts)
Coordinate finance related functions in the field
Coordinate all monitoring and evaluation functions in the field.
Coordinate and conduct staff training programme
Establish and Coordinate partners / stakeholders network
Conduct new expansion activities (i.e. undertake start-up activities when intervention moves to new area)
Participate / support programme’s development activities
Generate and submit required reports.

Required minimum education and training

Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Social Science.
Certificate in training in the field of gender related issues would be an added advantage.

Required minimum work experience:

Minimum 1 year’ experience in coordinating project operations.

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities

Technical experience in project implementation
Basic experience in HR and finance administration
Ability to work independently and in a team is essential
Strong leadership, facilitation and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Fluency in Northern Sotho and English
Computer literacy
Previous working experience within the IMAGE project will be an added advantage
Valid driving license is essential, as traveling to different sites is required
