Our client, a reputable Company based in Cape Town requires an individual with good leadership skills to occupy the role of a Operations Depot Manager. The incumbent will be required to ensure profitable and cost effective operations of the sites under his/her responsibility through maximum utilisation of resources, effective management of contractors and continuous improvement in operations.

- You are to adhere to all environmental responsibilities and relevant legislative requirements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic leadership to the Division on strategy, preferred suppliers, updated technology, training requirements and execution and utilization of resources.
- Define and drive overall customer satisfaction and revenue growth indicators and levels.
- Manage Site Supervisors and sub contractors to ensure national compliance and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that monthly financials are accurate.
- Manage and drive cross-functional relationships with other departments i.e. Logistics and Commercial.
- Own operational commercial processes. Lead and cultivate a culture of Commercial department Values and integrity.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures.
- Drive change initiatives as required to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments
- Ensure accurate projections are done for weekly flashes, quarterly and annual budgets.
- Ensure that an effective open, honest and constructive communication channel exists between the various regions, departments and divisions
- Ensure cost effectiveness within the region.
- Ensure that competitor profiles are kept current and that all changes to applicable Legislation are noted and communicated.
- Manage response to regional incidents and planned operations – overall project coordination, management and liaison
- Internal and external audit facilitation
- Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and authorities where applicable
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Business or Technical diploma/degree
- Project Management and SAMTRAC qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role/Petrochemical industry
- Good knowledge of IR and SHEQ
- Proven track record in a managerial role
- This role is open to all candidates nationally, who are willing to relocate
- Good communication skills
- Strong computer skills
