A position for a Operations Manager has arisen in a large firm based in Cape Town centre to join a dynamic team in the asset backed lending industry.

Job Specification;

• Good working knowledge of credit, loans and financial products with the associated legal remedies
• Experience managing external service providers
• Credit management experience
• Compliance/Internal Audit experience
• Project Management experience
• Excellent report/business writing and information presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent information gathering and problem solving skills
• Advanced Excel
• Strong Organisational, interpersonal and planning skills
• Results driven
• Quality and detail orientation
• Adaptive and responsive to change
• Persuading and influencing
• Leadership
• Lead the operations team through influence in which you will enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of the objective
• Operations is appropriately resourced
• Organogram is optimised for effective credit risk and service level management
• Talent is identified and groomed
• Poor performance is effectively managed

Minimum Requirements;

• Grade 12
• Degree in Business Management and/or related discipline, i.e. Credit, Finance, Operations or Legal
• Minimum of 5 years’ operational management experience across all relevant areas within Credit and Collections
• Minimum of 3 years’ managing others
• Operational management experience gained in Financial Services, Collections Services and/or Retail Sectors
