An Operations Manager opportunity is now available in a national Hospitality, Leisure and Gaming company. A well-known company with head office based in Cape Town is looking to add to their Middle management team. This opportunity requires a hardworking, informed professional who is comfortable to be based in Cape Town but travel the country substantially, with the relevant experience within the industry sector including finance.



Qualification:

B.Com

CIMA

CA (SA)

Skills & Experience:

Problem solving and decision making skills

Strong personality

Must have drive and determination, eager to perform, enthusiastic and have initiative

Attention to detail is essential

Must be a self-starter able to work independently once the task has been given

Willing to work extended hours with bidding processes with critical time lines

Able to work under pressure

Job Description:

The ability to understand financial numbers and accounting, Income statements, balance sheet items including management accounts and audit

Must be able to prepare financial numbers for bid documents

Must be able to read a request for proposal and interpret it correctly

Capable of preparing elements of bid documents and reviewing documentation

Must have experience of business and have a clear view of their own operational capabilities

Must be able to thoroughly understand Internal Control procedures and Company policies and procedures

Must work efficiently in the framework of a regulatory environment with Acts, Regulations and Rules

Good communication skills

Capable of setting up and reviewing of reports to various legal entities

Understand supplier contracts and other legal contracts

Financial or Operational Catering and Gaming experience will be an advantage, but is not essential
