Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a strong Operations Manager for a 5* Group of Lodges based within the famous Greater Kruger Area.We are looking for someone who is able to assist the General Manager in achieving the operational delivery and improvement of the Standard Operating Procedures ?as well as to supervise, motivate, train and develop the management team and their respective staff with the aim of ensuring Guest expectations are met and exceeded consistently. Please note while applicants with kids will be considered we are looking for someone looking to make a long-term commitment in this role. Your key responsibilities within this role will include but not be limited to:Monitoring the Guest Experience at all lodges (5 star standard and ensure it remains current to trends & changing guest needs)Monthly review, in consultation with the management team and heads of department, of the Guest Experience with the intention of establishing a consistently high service level which is market leading. ?Development & introduction of new experiences, services & concepts to enhance the guest experience. ?Monitoring of the quality & quantity of the food produced for guests. ?Consult with the General Manager regarding the safari experience & quality of wildlife sightings. ?Monitor the service provided by the Front of House team with constant reference to efficiencies & quality with accuracy also being a major consideration. ?Assess the quality & efficiency of the Food & Beverage service being provided ?Plan and participate in the training of all management / leadership teams with specific reference to business aspects, management of staff, confrontation, discipline, motivation, leadership, delegation. ? ?Assist in identifying, training and mentoring individuals to ensure a process of staff development exists resulting in staff growth through the system. ?Monitor weekly and monthly stock takes, stock levels and cost of sales. ?Communication with the HO Sales & Marketing and Reservations Teams ahead of strategic partners & clients arrivalBe the driver of educating the staff on the Values & Purpose of the company. ? ?We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualities and skills:Self-starterConfident?Enthusiastic?Ability to work under pressure?Customer focused?Good communicator?Well spoken?Strong managerial & leadership skillsProblem solving skills To apply for this position and find out more please send us through your CV and references along with your salary expectations… Good Luck!
