KEYLINK RECRUITMENT is seeking a well experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER for this reputable hotel.You will be responsible for:Effective leadership, manage and oversee all departments within the hotelPlan and manage the day to day operations effectivelyDrive the broader goals of the hotel in relation to all outlets mentioned aboveDrive the hotels’ Rooms and Food and Beverage Divisions Business planTo ensure consistent acquisition and maintenance of guestsThe managing of Human Resources paperwork for the entire hotelFacilitate team development through the Training PlanEnsure the required policies, procedures and administrative systems and controls are in placeDay to day guest interaction to receive feedback and actively implement necessary actionForecast anticipated volumes of business and plan accordinglyRevenue ManagementManaging hotel ratesManage the process of balancing hotel inventoryOverseeing and assisting in departmental stock takesCompilation of all Rooms and Food and Beverage reportsAdherence to all company practicesInvolvement in the recruitment process of Departmental StaffLeading, training and motivating the teamDrive the hotel’s quality plan and implement all required standardsTo stand in and perform the duties of an Acting General Manager in the absence of the General ManagerInvolvement in the hotel’s disciplinary process, including initiating and chairing enquiriesThe successful incumbent will have Grade 12National Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification would be an advantage3 years’ experience in a Senior Hotel Management positionExtremely guest service drivenAbility to work accurately under pressureExcellent planning and organizational skillsTime management skills are essentialExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExceptionally well groomed and presentableValid driver’s license - own transport is essentialPlease send your updated CV together with a recent head and shoulder photo to Mr Andre Niemand at KEYLINK RECRUITMENT.
