Dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturer is expanding operations into South Africa and is looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager in Muizenberg, Cape Town to assist with setting up and managing day to day operations of the packaging factory and warehouse.
Experience in a related role within a regulated industry like pharmaceutical or food, knowledge of implementation and maintenance of the ISO9001 quality system is essential:
Duties will include:
Setting up and overseeing the production of products
Monitoring and analysing the production process
Planning and controlling change
Managing quality assurance programme
Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost
Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout
Management of all staff
