Requirements:
- Grade 12
- B.Pharm / Operations Management / Engineer degree
- Minimum 5 to 8 years liquids manufacturing / packing experience
- Experience in FDA/MHRA/WHO approved facility is an advantage
- Experience within a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment will be an advantage
- 3 to 5 years leadership experience
- Project management experience will be an advantage
- Formal Business Management qualification will be an advantage
- Computer literate

Responsibilities:
- Execution of the agreed OPP and adherence to scheduled start and delivery dates
- Capacity planning
- To develop, execute and control the operating and capital expense budget
- Monthly review of demand forecasting, product transfers and product launches
- Product routings and technical transfer protocol reviews
- Develop and sustain a continuous improvement culture
- Identify and execute manpower, structural, equipment and workflow improvements
- Ensure cGMP requirements are maintained
- Ensure compliance to QMRS, preventative maintenance and validation schedules
- Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure the supply of quality products
- SOP training and workplace practical assessments
- Set, measure and manage performance targets
