Our client is a high performance organisation operating in the mining industry. They run a highly decentralised business. Many of these business units are small and have limited support staff on site. The Production Manager based at head office (Pretoria West) will be responsible to pull together all aspects of operations on site to ensure that production targets are met and often exceeded

The responsibilities will start with planning the execution of a project and thereafter managing to ensure that production is delivered against the plan on both revenue and cost basis.

This role will integrate with the areas below and ensure that they deliver seamlessly into production on a daily basis. It is the responsibility of this role to oversee and expedite inputs from these key areas in the business to ensure consistently high productions levels.

Areas of Responsibility and Accountability

Achieving and exceeding productions targets
Planning of all projects making use of Project Planning Tools
Expedite inputs from other departments to ensure production target are met
Measure and review key parameters on daily basis and act on deviations
Cost management
Client engagement and management
Resolving issues between site and HQ, Client and Hall Core

Must haves

7 year project management experience
Formal qualification (preferably Engineering)
Energetic with a deep desire to work with the team and move them ahead of the competition
Ability to assess, adopt and use new technology
Willing to travel to remote sites
