Our client is looking for an Operations Specialist to join their Cape Town team.

The responsibility of your role will be:

To ensure the integrity of the data on their System (Maxim)

Manage day to day Health Checks as per Health Check register

Ensure that the information on the system meets all the legislative requirement i.e.
SARS
FATCA

Responsible for ensuring all error corrections are implemented and are dealt with efficiently and effectively

Have good knowledge and understanding of the SARS System requirements

Manage all CAS uploads to the SARS e-filing system

Familiar with rules and principles regarding Capital Gains Tax for Discretionary and Contractual Products

Understand sufficient details about the system and business processes to be able to do trouble shooting during the day-to-day operations

Liaise with Business Analysts to give continuous feedback on system functionality and maintenance

Recommend improvements to the system or process in order to maintain efficient and accurate processing

Assist Internal / External Audit team with system related, audit and business queries

Qualifications needed:

Grade 12 (mathematics as subject)

B Com in Informatics – Desirable

Good knowledge of the of the Income Tax Act and SARS system and process - to your advantage

Preferred experience (not required):

Some LISP/Asset management experience preferable

Role in which detailed understanding of processes was required

A role using database interrogation tools to provide support to operational functions

Salary is negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience.
